Policies at Coast Hair
At Coast Hair, customer service is our top priority.
To best serve all our clients, we kindly ask that you review and adhere to our salon policies.

 

Reservations

  • Clients are required to provide a credit card on file to secure their appointment.

  • An email and text confirmation will be sent 3 days prior to your scheduled appointment. Please click the link to CONFIRM your appointment. If you do not confirm your appointment, it does not mean your appointment is automatically cancelled. Please call (914) 219-8600 or text (914) 843-4513 to cancel your appointment before the 24 hour cancellation period.

  • No deposits will be made unless discussed before booking.

  • Please review the cancellation policy thoroughly before confirming your appointment.

  • Please remove any touchup sprays or powders prior to your appointment. If these products are in your hair, we cannot guarantee full coverage for Single Process color/even color results. Additionally, please ensure that you arrive with dry hair so we can achieve the best results possible.​​

Cancellation Policy

  • 24-Hour Notice: All cancellations require at least 24 hours' notice.

  • Late Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment will incur a 50% charge of the services booked.

  • No-Shows or Same-day Cancellations: These will result in a 100% charge of all services booked.

  • Repeat Cancellations: After three missed appointments or short-notice cancellations, a 50% deposit will be required for all future bookings.

Late Policy

  • Late arrivals may result in a shortened service. We will do our best to accommodate a late client, however, clients arriving 15+ minutes late may not be guaranteed to receive the full service booked and client will be responsible for costs of scheduled services.

Deposits

  • For color corrections or appointments requiring larger time slots, a deposit may be required and will be discussed prior to booking.

  • Deposits will be applied toward the cost of the service.

  • Deposits are non-refundable if the appointment is canceled with less than 48 hours’ notice.
     

Product Returns/Exchanges

  • Unopened/Unused Products: Eligible for a full refund within 30 days of purchase.​

Client Satisfaction

  • If you are not completely satisfied with your service, please contact us via email or phone within 10 days of your appointment.

  • Complimentary color adjustments will be provided within this timeframe.

  • If changes are requested beyond the original service discussion, additional charges may apply.

  • No refunds will be issued for services or cancellation fees.​
     

      Note: To ensure the best results, our stylists can only fully guarantee their            work when recommended professional shampoos are used.
